The Business Buddies App
The map shows you who's out there — the app is how you actually go meet them.
- Get directions straight from where you're standing to any Buddy on the map
- See how many other explorers have checked in at each business
- Create an account to check in when you visit (only works when you're actually there) and snap a photo of the Buddy
- Every check-in photo is saved to that business's listing, so you can scroll through past sightings and notes from other explorers
- Fill out your Passport — track your check-ins, complete itineraries, and earn badges (nine to collect so far)
Business Buddies is a growing, crowd-sourced guide to businesses with resident animals — shop cats, office dogs, distillery mascots, and everything in between. Spot a pet, tell us about it, and we add it to the map.
It started in Louisville, Kentucky, and is now expanding city by city — Lexington and Cincinnati are next, with more on the way. Each city gets a dedicated map, a dedicated app, and a full set of hidden companions to meet.
